Data Center & Virtualization

At Arwen Tech, we specialize in providing innovative solutions for data center virtualization. Our solutions allow businesses to optimize their IT infrastructure, reduce costs, and improve performance by

consolidating multiple physical servers into a single virtualized environment. Our team of experts works closely with clients to design and implement custom virtualization solutions that meet their unique needs, while also providing robust security, reliability, and scalability. With Arwen Tech’s data center virtualization solutions, businesses can maximize the value of their IT investments, improve their agility and flexibility, and gain a competitive advantage in today’s fast-paced digital landscape.

With our below mentioned partner, we are able to revolutionized the DC approach and have successfully completed multiple projects for DC design revamp.

Private and Public cloud Infrastructure

Private and public cloud solutions are two different ways to deliver cloud computing services. A private cloud is a cloud computing environment that is dedicated to a single organization.

It is typically hosted on-premises, but it can also be hosted in a colocation facility. A private cloud offers a high level of security and control, but it can be more expensive than a public cloud.

A public cloud is a cloud computing environment that is shared by multiple organizations. It is hosted by a third-party provider, and it is accessible over the internet. A public cloud is more cost-effective than a private cloud, but it offers a lower level of security and control.

The best cloud solution for your organization will depend on your specific needs. If you need a high level of security and control, then a private cloud is the best option. If you are looking for a cost-effective solution, then a public cloud is the best option.

Here are some of the benefits of using a private cloud:

  • Increased security: Private clouds offer a high level of security because they are dedicated to a single organization. This means that your data is not shared with other organizations, and it is not accessible to the public.
  • Improved control: Private clouds offer a high level of control because you have complete control over the environment. This means that you can choose the hardware and software that you want to use, and you can configure the environment to meet your specific needs.
  • Increased scalability: Private clouds can be scaled up or down as needed, which can help you to meet the changing needs of your organization.

Here are some of the benefits of using a public cloud:

  • Cost-effectiveness: Public clouds are more cost-effective than private clouds because they are shared by multiple organizations. This means that you can share the costs of hardware, software, and maintenance with other organizations.
  • Ease of use: Public clouds are easy to use because they are hosted by a third-party provider. This means that you do not need to worry about the hardware or software, and you can focus on your business.
  • Global reach: Public clouds are available globally, which can help you to reach a wider audience.

If you are considering using a cloud solution, it is important to weigh the pros and cons of private and public clouds to determine which solution is best for your organization. Arwentech can guide and consult organizations to setup private or public cloud infrastructure.

Software defined data center solutions

A software-defined data center (SDDC) is a data center architecture that uses software to control and manage the physical infrastructure, such as servers, storage, and networking.

SDDCs are designed to be more efficient, agile, and scalable than traditional data centers.

There are three main components of an SDDC:

  • Software-defined networking (SDN): SDN uses software to control and manage the network infrastructure. This allows for more efficient and flexible network management.
  • Software-defined storage (SDS): SDS uses software to control and manage the storage infrastructure. This allows for more efficient and flexible storage management.
  • Software-defined compute (SDC): SDC uses software to control and manage the compute infrastructure. This allows for more efficient and flexible compute management.

SDDCs offer a number of benefits over traditional data centers, including:

  • Increased efficiency: SDDCs can help to improve the efficiency of data center operations by automating tasks, such as provisioning and managing resources.
  • Improved agility: SDDCs can help to improve the agility of data center operations by making it easier to scale resources up or down as needed.
  • Increased scalability: SDDCs can help to increase the scalability of data center operations by making it easier to add new resources as needed.
  • Reduced costs: SDDCs can help to reduce the costs of data center operations by reducing the need for manual labor and by optimizing resource utilization.

SDDCs are a complex and evolving technology, but they offer a number of potential benefits for organizations that are looking to improve the efficiency, agility, and scalability of their data center operations.

Arwentech provides following SDDC solution offerings based on  leading vendors:

  • VMware vRealize Suite: VMware vRealize Suite is a comprehensive SDDC solution that includes software for NSX, vSAN, vRealize automation etc.
  • Cisco ACI: Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) is a software-defined networking (SDN) solution that provides a centralized, policy-based approach to managing data center networks. ACI decouples the control plane from the data plane, allowing for greater flexibility and agility in network operations.
  • Juniper Networks Contrail: Juniper Networks Contrail is an SDDC solution that focuses on SDN. Contrail uses a policy-based approach to network management and uses intent-based networking (IBN) to automate network operations.
  • Dell EMC VxRail: Dell EMC VxRail is a hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solution that combines Dell PowerEdge servers, VMware software, and Dell networking and storage components. VxRail is a turnkey solution that can be deployed quickly and easily, and it offers a number of benefits over traditional IT infrastructure.

Data Center Interconnect solutions

Data Center Interconnect (DCI) solutions are used to connect two or more data centers together. DCI solutions can be used to improve the performance, reliability, and security of data center connectivity.

There are a number of different DCI solutions available on the market, each with its own strengths and weaknesses:

Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV): OTV is a Cisco-proprietary protocol that extends Layer 2 connectivity between data centers. OTV encapsulates Layer 2 frames in Layer 3 packets and tunnels them over a Layer 3 network. This allows Layer 2 traffic to be transported between data centers without the need to create Layer 2 links between them.

Virtual Extensible Local Area Network (VXLAN): VXLAN is an open standard protocol that extends Layer 2 connectivity between data centers. VXLAN encapsulates Layer 2 frames in Layer 4 packets and tunnels them over a Layer 3 network. This allows Layer 2 traffic to be transported between data centers without the need to create Layer 2 links between them.

Ultimately, the best DCI solution for you will depend on your specific needs and requirements, contact Arwentech to select the best option for you.
