Dear guests on our new website and our valued customers

Further to my last message in late 2021, as the saying goes “When going gets tough,  the tough get going”  I am sure the challenging days of Covid have gone with us developing some good habits of using the tech at its best, keeping a work life balance etc. However in Pakistan we are faced with some challenges with regard to opening LCs and PKR-USD parity resulting in budgetary constraints and overnight depletion of allocated funds for planned CAPEX and OPEX. Business big and small are challenged to survive in these tough times due to both global and local constraints. Nevertheless with the grace of Almighty Allah and with all out support of our valued customers, I’m witnessing yet another promising fiscal year ending Jun 2023.

I promised our customers in my last communication that Arwen will not stop investing in new technologies and bring them to our customers to let you realize the financial and productivity benefits.

My leadership team and their teams are always available and willing to meet our customers to discuss these solutions to bring success in your organizations.

MANAGEMENT PROFILE

ZIAD BASHIR

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Ziad Bashir has been on the Board since 2004. A graduate from Babson College, USA, with a bachelor degree in Entrepreneurial Studies, he has a comprehensive diversified experience of the textile Industry, Retail and Information Technology, and is deeply involved in various developmental and operational activities of Arwen Tech and the Gul Ahmed Group.

He is actively associated with Arwen Tech since its inception, and has played a key role in transformation of many customer organizations’ including Gul Ahmed groups’ IT infrastructure. He is a certified director from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG).

Arwen Tech under Ziad’s leadership was formed in 2004 and has now completed 15 years of successful operations with offices nationwide, staffed with certified & experienced IT professionals serving clientele in all leading industry sectors, representing world’s top ICT brands like Cisco, Riverbed, Juniper, Citrix, Microsoft, Solarwinds, Dell.

Under Ziad’s leadership in 2008, the city of Karachi launched its first-ever “Command and Control Center” to help smooth traffic flow, maintain public safety and reduce crime, wherein Arwen Tech was selected as a Service provider to CDGK. Arwen deployed state-of-the-art contact center on Cisco IPCC technology at its purpose-built Call center facility with round-the-clock operations where citizens could call ‘1339’ to file complaints and get their basic civic issues of crime, water scarcity, power shortages and many more resolved

ABDUL QADIR SOBHANI

Chief Operating Officer

Qadir is Chief Operating Officer of Arwen Tech. He was appointed as COO in April 2012.

Qadir began his Arwen Tech career in 2004, as Business Unit Head of Converged Communication, and worked for almost 4 years until Sept 2008. He has progressed through a series of Sales and leadership roles at Arwen Tech through his 2 spells of around 14 years. Since his rejoining he has played an integral role in the transformation of the company and brought significant growth and improvement in company’s bottom line.

Qadir holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Master’s degree in Business Administration from School of Business & Commerce.

MUHAMMAD ZEESHAN SIDDIQUI

Country Head of Technology and Services

A senior information technology specialist at designing and delivering large-scale business and technology transformation solutions, Zeeshan is helping to drive the digital transformation and cloud computing services by enabling enterprises and public sectors become smarter through the use of latest technologies.

Zeeshan has established a reputation for being a resourceful, innovative and highly skilled technical leader with over 20 years’ experience, accumulates a regional and extensive local experience in cloud and hybrid IT infrastructure, next generation data centers, enterprise and cybersecurity services.

He has a strong background in the infrastructure domain but is a firm believer in balancing business with technology, proven success in spearheading continual programming of IT services, developing technology solutions, and enabling achievement of full business potential.

Prior to the ArwenTech, Zeeshan held various leadership and consulting roles at Arcadis, BIOSME and GBM. Zeeshan holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from NED University and a range of industry technical certifications including Cisco CCIE.

KASHIF AKHTER CHISHTI

Senior Manager Finance

Kashif equipped with almost 20 years of experience in Finance, Accounting & Corporate Affairs IFRS, Accounting Standards & Local regulations, Corporate & Statutory Compliance Accounts, Treasury operations, Supply chain management and MIS.

Experienced to maximize utilization of Information Systems. Strong team building skills and recognized for strengths in capital constrained environments, turnarounds, restructuring, efficiency improvements, ERP & BI implementations.

Associated with ArwenTech since 2004, he is result oriented leader who turns strategy into action to intensify top and bottom-line performance through Strategic Planning, Performance Improvement & Business Transformation, Change Processes, Forecast, Working capital management.

Kashif holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and finalist of Associate Chartered Accountant (ACCA).

Anjum Khaleeq

Territory Business Manager – North

is leading ArwenTech Business in North region with over 18-Years’ of work experience in Pakistan & Middle East markets doing Business Development, Vendor Management and Account Management. And Team Management for the past 7years.

Managing North Team for business development at key organizations within Public Sector, Telco, Enterprise & FSI. As Territory Business Manager North leading the teams of Sales, Pre-sales and Project Management in delivering business values to Arwen Tech’s valued customers.

Before joining Arwen, worked with various IT Solution providers in Saudi

Arabia, for Business Development in major industry verticals include FSI, Telcos & Public sector organizations. 

Raja Afzal Ahmed

Territory Business Manager – Central

He is leading ArwenTech Business in central region. A highly experienced IT Senior Manager, with a background in effectively delivering integrated IT solutions, along with a genuine passion for Technology and Communications. Worked in IT Infrastructure of Banking industry for more than 25 years, with 15 years of hands-on experience and 10 years of managerial role and possesses highly developed skills in problem identification and implementation of effective solutions. Overall more than 30 years’ experience in IT industry with professional skills of Business development, Project management, Account management and being a consistent business producer in all the major industry verticals. His professional carrier based on serving in Pakistan as well as abroad, and using his national & international exposure applying best business practices in central region. Having been part of ArwenTech since more than 6 years. A friendly, mature and flexible individual with a proven entrepreneurial approach towards objectives and tasks

Muhammad Khursand

Senior Manager Projects & Support

As an experienced technical project manager with 23 years of experience Muhammad Khursand leads Arwentech Customer Support and Project Management Office Countrywide, and has extensive experience in Technical project management as well as Corporate customer support. Committed to keeping up with the latest industry trends and innovations, enables him to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas for projects.

Muhammad Khursand possess a unique blend of technical knowledge, leadership abilities. Muhammad Khursand has been with ArwenTech almost two-decades delivering successful projects with customer care in after sales support.

Prior to the ArwenTech, Muhammad Khursand held various Technical and project Management Roles at Major IT industries in Pakistan. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Sir Syed University and PMP Certification from PMI

Najiullah Tabish

HR Lead

Najiullah Tabish is our HR Lead with 10 years of versatile experience in the FMCG and IT industries. Throughout his career, Tabish has honed his skills and gained a deep understanding of various HR functions. From talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management and organizational development, he has navigated the complexities of HR operations in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

With a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and a continuous pursuit of staying up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices. Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels is one of his key strengths. HR is collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a focus on delivering results that align with business objectives.

Razzaq Butt

Senior Manager PSG – North & Central

With over 23 years of extensive experience in network design, network planning, network operation operation, and Network architecture technology expertise. He has experience in project management and service management in international business environments. Experience in finance, P&L, and budget control disciplines. In contract and service deliverable setup and monitoring.

Detail-oriented and efficient in project execution, ensuring accuracy and precision in every aspect of the work. Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, building consensus for effective project execution.

Before joining ArwenTech, Razzaq occupied several leadership and senior management positions at NTG KSA and Omningage Cloud UK. He possesses a Master’s degree in computer science and holds various prominent technical certifications, including Cisco CCIE R&S.

Nauman Ahmed

Senior Technology Consultant

A seasoned professional with over 18 years of extensive experience in local and international markets. His expertise spans a range of technologies in cybersecurity and infrastructure, having worked closely with various OEMs in solution designing, channel and ecosystem management, and business development.

Nauman is a technology-oriented professional. Notably, his strong focus remains on the Telecom, Government, and Banking sectors with a successful track record in fostering effective vendor and client relationships makes him a valuable team member.

Before joining ArwenTech, Nauman held senior positions in multinationals like ITS, Ingram Micro, and Techaccess.  Nauman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Mr. Saeed Ahmed

Manager Enterprise IT Management Services

With 18 years of industry expertise, Saeed Ahmed leading the Enterprise IT Management services. From steering pre-sales and vendor product demonstrations to championing industry best practices and user-friendly tools, Saeed’s expertise lies in bridging the gap between technology and user experience. As a founding member of EITM Group in Arwen, he has been instrumental in introducing cutting-edge SaaS and on-premise EITM solutions to the market. His proficiency in selling, supporting, and implementing solutions across diverse vendor ecosystems speaks volumes about his technical acumen and business acumen. Holding a BA degree from Karachi University, Saeed brings a well-rounded perspective to every project, ensuring successful deployments and client satisfaction
